Synoptic Situation at 3:00 pm EST Friday
A high over the southern Tasman Sea extends a weak ridge along the far northern
tropical coast. A surface trough is expected to form over the southeast QLD
coast during Saturday, freshening winds.

Forecast
Friday until midnight: NW/N winds at 15/20 knots reaching 20/25 knots at times. 
Seas from to 2 metres. 
Saturday: NW/N at 20/30 knots.  Seas to 2 metres.
Sunday: NW winds at 20/25 knots, easing during the afternoon.   
Monday: NE/NW winds 10/15 knots.
