Weather Situation
A weak ridge is expected to persist off the east Queensland coast. 

Forecast
Tuesday until midnight:  Winds: NE to NW 10 to 15 knots. Seas: 1.2 metres in the
Capricorn Channel.  Swell: Less than 1.5 metres. 
 Wednesday:  Winds: SE to NE 10 to 15 knots.  Seas: 1.2 metres in the Capricorn
Channel.  Swell: Less than 1.5 metres. 
Thursday:  Winds: E to SE 10 to 15 knots. 
Friday:  Winds: SE 10 to 15 knots, increasing to 15 to 20 knots late in the day.
